World Handwashing Day
The United Nations Children's Fund ( UNICEF ) has designated October 15 as "World Handwashing Day". However, hand washing is not a common habit all over the world.
For this reason, it is important to make it a habit in terms of health by emphasizing the importance of this on this special day. The purpose of this day is not to be limited to just one day, but to encourage hand washing with soap throughout the year.
We, as BUHASDER, wanted to raise awareness about the World Hand Washing Day in İzmir Kemeraltı Clock Tower and İzmir Alsancak Cyprus Martyrs;
we have distributed brochures, information survey in the form of questions and answers, and soap distribution under the sponsorship of Dalan Soaps.
